Thank you for choosing Sydney's Consignment Boutique to consign your clothing, purses, shoes, accessories and jewelry. We hope this will be the beginning of a lasting relationship. Before you consign your merchandise with us please read it carefully and sign it to show you agree. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions!
Items are consigned for 45 days. Sydney's Consignment Boutique will determine the initial price. Sydney's reserves the right to reduce prices during the consignment period but will work to get you the best return for your item.
Items must be current style (preferably no more than 3 years old). They must have all buttons, snaps, closures and zippers must work. No rips, stains or tears. We prefer product tags and size tags still be intact. Wash or dry clean items before you bring them to us and iron as needed.
Sydney's Consignment Boutique acts as a selling agent for your items. While we take all reasonable care with your merchandise, we are not responsible for damage or loss.
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing for specific big ticket items, 50% of the proceeds from the sale of each item will be credited to the seller. The remaining 50% of the sale amount will be paid to Sydney’s Consignment Boutique.
Payment for items sold will be made by check and may be collected no more than once per week. Your account balance may be credited for purchases in the store as often as desired.
At the end of the consignment period you may pick up any unsold items. You will receive a reminder email to notify you that you have items that are ready to be picked up. You may pick them up any time within 7 days after the notification email is sent. If you don’t pick up your items they become the property of Sydney's Consignment Boutique.
